This month is the second part of a two-part project. Part two – In March, we’ll use the Quilted panels to make two styles of zippy bags with your Serger. We will work with Decorative Thread and the 3-thread flatlock wide stitch to set the zipper and stitch the sides with a standard 4-thread overlock. These Zippy Bags stitch up in minutes and will become a go-to favorite for gift giving!
Techniques this month: Working with Decorative threads, 3-thread flatlock wide stitch, setting a Zipper with your Serger, and clean Starts and Stops.
